This past weekend's Hunter's Expo in Shreveport, La. was the temporary home of Heirloom Turkey Calls.  Along with his lovely wife Miss Kathy, Brian packed up a fine selection of our hand built and tuned turkey calls and put them on display for hunters at the show.  From the very beginning, they had a great time!  The folks they met were simply wonderful, especially the kids. 

The kids were absolutely the best.  They were full of great questions asking how the calls worked and in return got a bit of a lesson and the chance to try out the calls.  Anyone who knows Brian, knows what a soft spot he has for children and he relished the looks of surprise on their faces when they would get yelp or a cluck out of one of his calls and Brian would let loose with a hearty, "GOBBLE", for them. He even rewarded each of the youngster's calling with a custom, "Fish Whistle Call"  with instructions on how to use them.  Everyone left with a smile.

 Heirloom Turkey Calls also hosted a drawing for a set of calls to one of the kind folks who registered with us.  The set included an Double Barrel, Single Barrel, and Rebel Yell call.  The drawing was held on Sunday, the 29th of August and was drawn  by Kirk Ebarb, host of River City Outdoors TV show.  The lucky winner was Lisa Burns of Frierson, La. who couldn't have been more pleased!

Will Heirloom Turkey Calls return for more shows?  You bet!  Brian is already scheduled for another show in Haughton, La. on August 8th, and Toby will be appearing on behalf of Heirloom Turkey Calls at the Florida Bowhunter's Jamboree over Labor Day Weekend in Citrus county Florida.
